2.  What music do you like to listen to when you are not performing?
Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington 
 
3.  What is the last book you read.
Ray Charles bio. 
 
4.  What is your favorite film?
High Society 
 
5.  How did you get started in music?
Listening to Dukes of Dixieland records made me want to play trombone..then banjo...then guitar
 
6.  Who has influenced you musically?
Freddie Green and Eddie Condon 
  

7.  What is your practice routine?
Relaxed scales and slowly/cleanly strumming the more difficult chord/finger movements ...trying to get a leading bass line 
 
8.  Why does music matter in the world?
To help share beauty and the positive human emotions and spirit
 
9.  One piece of advice for young musicians.
Follow what interests you, not the crowd ....and turn down those amps!
